  1. Just start reading. Don't think about it. Read.
  2. Start reading some books.
  3. read the Harry Potter series
  4. figure out what you like and skim over the books on those topics. Listen to others opinions on books and try to start small but not too small around 200-300 pages would do it and after you are done with a book read another dont stop and read everyday and eventually you will get into the habit.
  5. start of by reading magazines or the newspaper, and then work your way up to books. **When you read a book get something that will interest you and keep your attention, if you choose the wrong book that might not help you with your reading.
  6. If you are starting out, almost any book is a good book. unlless it is by jaqueline Susann, Jackie, or Joan Collins or the guy that wrote "The Bridges of Madison County" other than that, enjoy!
  7. Read books you like. Go to the library for a day and just read and find books youre interested in. Anything YOU like read, whether its magazines, newspapers, etc.
  8. Your reading habit will fade out unless the books are so brilliant that you want to re-read them again 5 years later. So start with the great stuff of the 19th century (before radio and television) and then you're ready to go back in time to the grand master of human nature -- Shakespeare. Here are some that past the test: Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley Frankenstein Rudyard Kipling Captains Courageous Kim Sir Walter Scott Waverley Samuel Taylor Coleridge Poems and Prose Charles Dickens A Tale of Two Cities Bleak House Hard Times Christmas Stories John Stuart Mill On Liberty Autobiography Lewis Carroll Complete Works Edward Lear Complete Nonsense William Makepeace Thackeray Vanity Fair James Thomson (Bysshe Vanolis) The City of the Dreadful Night Oscar Wilde The Picture of Dorian Gray Robert Louis Stevenson Essays Kidnapped Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde Treasure Island Bram Stoker Dracula Mark Twain Letters from the Earth Huck Finn Herman Melville Moby Dick Nathaniel Hawthorne The Scarlet Letter Margaret Mitchell Gone With the Wind Arthur Miller The Crucible Death of a Salesman
  9. WELL i think you should start with the alphabet A B C and then END with PAGES 1 2 3
  10. Then go to your local libray and find books that intersted you. The more you read the more you will love it!
