Should I sign the Title I Reading Program permission slip?

My daughter is a strong reader at home. I think the real issue is she was nervous during the assessment. I am worried that having her in the program will place a stigma on her. In addition, her report card does not reflect any concerns so I am confused on why she was chosen and will be meeting with her teacher for further discussion.

Public Comments

1. Talk with her classroom teacher. They probably have to choose kids based on a one time test, which is foolish. If the teacher sees no problems then do not give permission.
