Reading train - Improve your reading skills

Name a couple of programs that can record sounds that my computer is playing i.e. microsoft sam reading words?

I need to record words in a robot voice. I have the voice (I'm just using Microsoft Sam that comes with windows), but I don't know how to record what he is saying without an outside device, which has bad quality. A program that records the file as an mp3 would be nice. The program needs to be free. A trial would probably work since I am only recording 30 seconds of sound.

1. Set your input as "stereo out" and record just like you were using a Mic, I use Audacity.
