do you always or sometimes find yourself not knowing a word or two in a book? i know that you can always check the dictionary but most of us are too lazy.

- usually the context that the word is used in will give me a clue to its meaning but if i'm very confused I will consult the dictionary - I hate wondering if i'm missing something big clue in the plot by not knowing the meaning of a word.
- I do find myself confused at a particular word when I read my beloved books. I usually take a pause to study the sentence it's located in, and I can almost always grasp a vague understanding of what the word in question means. Otherwise, I just shrug to myself and continue reading. xD
- I do that sometimes. Just look at the sentences they're in. That would probably tell you. The more books you read the more words you'll learn what they mean. Dictionaries are usefull but I'm too lazy too. You can try out dictionary.com, it takes a little less effort.
- I'm always excited when that happens to me because I have a huge vocabulary, so learning a new word is like opening a present. With the internet, I just zip the word in and instant definition. Sometimes I can figure it out with the context clues or root word but not always.
- haha my feelings exactly. ill be reading and i'll come across words i don't know the meaning of. and i reread the phrase atleast 3 times and move on i tell myself ill look it up later but who am i kidding?
