Reading books in Spanish?
My wife is learning Spanish (fairly early stage). For Christmas I would like to get her some proper reading books. I remember finding Winnie the Pooh and similar books translated into Latin. Can anyone tell me whether (and where) I might be able to buy a similar type of book in Spanish - bearing in mind that I don't speak the language, so Spanish bookshops would not really help.

- Hi, Go to a big book store, Waterstones for example and in their education department they have reading books in Spanish for all levels. They are normally books written by English authors which have been translated into Spansih and then precied so they can be understood at various levels. Choose level 1 or 2 for your wife, and try to find the type of book she would read in English, don't buy Shakespeare if she like Joan Collins. Normally in this type of bookshop the staff are quite knowledgeable. Good luck to your wife learning Spanish, it's a wonderful language to learn and to speak, and good for you for supporting her.
- Order online or go to your nearest Barnes and Noble or any similar bookstore and ask someone there for the Spanish or foreign language section.
