Does reading books with small text?
Does reading books with small text (in compressed volume) affect my eyes in adverse way? I find compressed volumes suitable for storing and taking away the book from one place to another. However, someone told that reading such books with small text (bigger than newspaper text) will affect my eyes badly on the long run.

- well, too much reading will put you amongst the uneducated educated.... so give your eyes a break... okay...
- I don't think so. I don't think that it matters how small the text is...our eyes are made to adjust. However, it IS the AMOUNT OF TIME that one spends focused on the text and reading it that adversely affects the eyes. It is just like saying sitting close to the TV will make you wear glasses...that is another common myth. So, if you find yourself reading for a long period of time, take frequent breaks, look around (exercise your eyes that have been focused on the same area for a while)...
