- I analyze the book while I'm reading it.
- I read the book and just follow the plot. I like to get lost in a good book. That is the best part of reading
- I just read and enjoy but sometimes things will strike me though and I'll think back on it later to analyze. I started a yahoo reading group too if anyone's interested its web site is below. I'm trying to get people to discuss the book after and while reading them. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/literaryjourney/
- The first few pages of a book has to interest me for me to continue. If I continue and recognize a "here we go again" type plot, I stop. A book has to hook me for me to finish it. I read so much that I will not waste my time on something not that great. Some of the books I really enjoyed include, The Good Earth, Shogun, Taipan, Christie, The Count of Monte Cristo, Dune, Young's Literal Translation of the Bible, How to Think About Weird Things - Critical Thinking for a New Age, Without Remorse, and the Boerne series, to name a few off the top of my head.
- Whenever I read a book, I 'go into' the story and experience what the characters. If something really catches my eye, I will stop and ponder over it for a spell before going on. When I finish the book I look back on those parts and think about why they caught my eye in the first place.
- i don't know if I analyze it or not, but I have been known to get lost in a book while I read. I like to choose a character and in my mind become them...it give a book awhole other feel to it.
- Read it first, analize it when I'm finished
