3. The best way to improve reading skills is to read, Here is the example of "practice makes perfect". It is unfortunate that those who need to increase their reading skills do not like to read and fall further and further behind in most of their school subjects. Since they so not read enough their reading improvement is limited if it exists at all. There is the saying that "first we learn to read and then we read to learn." That, most people will agree is very true.
